well the quote does say "best looking game on CONSOLE" not consoleS

so perhaps they are only talking about xbox

because Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Uncharted 2, and God of War III all look better than Crysis 2 on consoles

They are fairly reputable, but their opinion isn't the great decideder either. That comment could have come from heaps of different articles that they've written over the last year, which isn't uncommon for games these days. I have games with comments on them from IGN, but the comment was made at like E3 or something, 4 months before it's released. The same thing applies to trailers, books and pretty much every form of media.

The OP should have waited until the review was released before making the thread, as we've seen in the past from other certain posters claiming that one game would be the best looking, they rarely ever go down well.

Also, I still think Crysis 2 looks like monkey butt and it looks like the least interesting game being released this year. 



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Well there we have it, the comment was used out of context and nearly a year before the release of the game. 

Also, this comment doesn't really help

"Or rather, the best looking game on 360.''

article even says its only the best looking on xbox, it doesnt say best looking on ps3. 

so its a bit of a deceptive quote

Hmm...like are they serious lol. Killzone 3 wasn't even announced at that time it seems.

Still, I think the quote will only be on the 360 version. The game doesn't look all that great at all.

Another quote from CVG from graphics on Crysis 2 (10 days ago).

"Keep an open mind: On any console, by any standards, Crysis 2 is a pretty exceptional looking game. Compared to the Xbox 360 version, all we could notice is that the PS3 game was *slightly* less colourful, with less rich blacks."

Not to be that guy, but this is just one reviewers opinion.

Wait and see what the other reviews say, or what actual gamers say
