Hey Bug, if it's not too late, I'd like to join this raffle. Hard Corps is coming out soon and it'd be awesome if I can haz for fee :D. As for the game sharing, I've game shared plenty of times so I know the ins and outs.

I've had this problem before. I was confused for a couple of days as well because it had seemed it acknowledged the value of the card just as you mentioned above. Sony told me to go back to the place I bought it & get a refund. It should be possible as well as long as you have the receipt. Basically what happened in my situation is that they never activated the card at the register. The employee at Gamestop was able to tell if the card had been used/activated or not so they knew I wasn't lying and the process was smooth from there. I got my card activated & went on my way.

btw, i'm not sure if the card will work on you guys either. i'm hoping that i'm right that the problem is about region. lets see.

Why don't you just create a US PSN account, charge the PSN card there and see what happens?

Sorry, I didn't realize that :S now I see you specified it in the OP, sorry.

Anyways, I doubt it has anything to do with you region since it should be a known issue by now, lots of people in the world get their PSN cards from other countries because they aren't sold in theirs/they don't even have a PS store for their country (like me T_T).

If you give the code to one of the other guys who volunteered and it gives them the same message, then try with an old PSN card that you have already used, try charging that one to see if it gives you the same message. Maybe someone with a PSN card generator (if those even exist) entered the code and already used it. If it does then... try calling Sony again :S
