Says so on my 360. Quite ironic if true for all consoles, considering home consoles are banned in China.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Well it may just be an anomally :p, wouldn't get too excited yet unless of course it's dramatically up YoY next month. Not saying that the "doomed" threads/comments are justified either |
Well it's a good sign anyway, hopefully for things to come
I was shocked to see the over 150k difference in figures between Wii's actual and expected, over conpensation because of what happened at Christmas?
@D-Joe, Just Dance is old news. It won't be shifting new consoles. EMEAA it's bundled, but not now

Err....Sony won. LG dead. You can't kill what's dead. lulz. |
Well, no one actually won yet. A Dutch court allowed Sony to ship their 300K Ps3 to European countries that LG had held back. There hasn't been any ruling on the patent suit and LG just filed another lawsuit to block PS3 shipments to the U.S.

So this is far from over.

I'm wondering how that 8.9 Earthquake ( Tsunamis) in Japan will effect Sony and Nintendo's console being manufactured or shipped overseas. It's not that big of a deal of Microsoft Xbox360 doesn't make it to Japan on a weekly basis, but Wii's and PS3 coming out of Japan to western U.S. and Europe may be a bigger impact. |
Consoles for all 3 companies are made in China, not Japan. If the tsunamis affected Chinese ports, then there might be a temporary issue at most.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Lot of undertracked games and hardware, that's all. Not surprising anymore.

Nothing is manufactured or shipped out of Japan? I find that hard to believe. Sony & Nintendo's HQ aren't in Japan either?

Microsoft has manufacturing plants in Mexico as well I believe.

I think most of the time it's a much cheaper alternative to base the factories in developing countries like China/India etc, a lot cheaper. In countries like Japan for Sony/Ninty and America for MS prices would be insane taking into account employee rights and all, headquarters are mainly in the countries of origin though, with regional HQ for each appropriate region(America, Europe, Asia) etc.

That was a long time ago. I think they still make games in Mexico, but all consoles are Chinese now.
