I'm looking forward to it. Not really excited yet, because it's still too far away.

Your sig is impossible to read. Just thougth I would let you know. Can't you just highlight all of it and make it a bigger font.

You should be excited. it's going to be awesome. yaaaaaaaaa!

You probably have the wrong browser. ;) I can read all the text just fine. I made the font smaller because I felt my sig was a bit too big with a normal font size.

On topic: In a way I'm excited of course (I mean, it's Zelda!), but I'm not counting the days and weeks yet. (Having no date announced yet doesn't help either...)

I'm not. Art style looks ugly, the gameplay looks gimmicky, the blurriness is annoying and the overall design of the enemies remind me of some random Dora the Explorer rip off. Not very impressed and it doesn't take a lot to impress me, especially considering that I'm playing Nier now and I'm in love.

Hell yeah!

I am listening to the Nier OST at work right now.

On Topic:

Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game that I was unable to play all the way through initially. I had to come back over a year later and finish it off. I just do not like the direction Nintendo is going with the franchise and Skyward Sword definitely does not have me excited right now.

They need to stop fucking around and just give us what we want, which is a game similar to the old Zelda. I want another 3/4 top down adventure. Oh yeah, stop forcing the motion controls on me.

Collecting rupies so I can continue playing minigames is tedious enough. Making me need to wave my arms around non stop as well just to collect them in a field of grass is not my idea of a fun time Nintendo.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Currently I am not excited. The GDC trailer was a masive disappointment for me. Nintendo is clearly keeping in secret a lot of information about the game, let's hope it's a strategy.

Excited? To be honest I am not.

From what I have seen, they showed the "typical Fire level" and the typical generic "green grass stage" thats usually present early on in the game.

It sounds dumb but the game looks too bright...I hate to go back to Ocarina for reference, but there were elements that were very dark. The town being ravaged by ReDeads and disrepair was cool. Ganondorf riding his dark horse through the flames and Shadow Temple painting trickery was good as well. I hope this game isn't some storybook good vs. evil type thing a la Epic Yarn, but with Link in it.

I do like the deeper combat though; hopefully they are focusing on that more than sheer puzzles. Linearity is what kept me from playing Twilight Princess more than once. Also, the return of EQUIPMENT & magic is a must. Gauntlets, Tunics, Air Boots, Din's Fire....all that good stuff that you DO not need to progress but can attain is great.

Until the story and villain are made clear, I will remain skeptical.

Skyward Sword looks great, I wish they would have taken the TP approach when it came to the graphics, but its not a big deal. It is still going to be a great game. Console Zelda games always are (except the CD-I games).

No.

Pre E3 2010, my hype was over the skyes, I just couldn't wait for the new Zelda unveil... and then there was that trailer.... and my expectations went sub-0

You should have made better poll options - none of them are how I feel

I'm looking forward to the game, but we know so little that it's pretty hard to get excited

So I voted that I disagree with you but I actually do a little >_<

Sorry. On my list of anticipated games, Zelda:SS is right on top. Followed by BF3 and MK.

I am. Red Steel 2 had great sword-fighting mechanics, but terrible game design otherwise.

High-quality sword fighting, plus even a mediocre Zelda game design, equals awesomeness.

I mean, I'm more excited for the possibility of the OoT remake having the master quest.

Why would you be more excited for a game that you could have already played for the past 15 years than for a completely new zelda game?

Because I never had the chance to play it through? I only played the first duengon and after that I couldn't find it.
