Around the Network

Crysis 2 and Homefront look like heading for a hard bomb, unless of course word of mouth is kind to them.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Pokémon is just...wow...

Isn't Homefornt THQ's higest pre-orded game ever?

Pokemon is such a beast and amazing franchise

Gears of War 3 is going to be scary big.  Easily the biggest exclusive launch of the year.

Dragon Age 2 will have a huge launch for an RPG.  Great for Bioware because they've been pumping out some of the greatest RPG's for a long time.

And is it just me or is The Show and MLB2k11 really low this year?  Baseball season is just around the corner I'm shocked to see pre-orders so low.

Woah I think it will be the biggest opening for a Pokémon game in Americas.

It probably won't have the same legs as Diamond/Pearl but I'm happy to see that Pokémon is far from dead.

That's what's weird though, apparently it's the biggest preordered game ever with more than 200,000 preorders, we currently have it at 73k for 360 with PS3 nowhere in sight.. Heavily undertracked preorders there. Unless there is something that I am missing, which is quite likely.

Besides, most of the time preoders =/= specifically amazing sales, Reach had more preorders than 3 but 3 is currently tracking above, it's a weird topic, if a game is good then it'll sell beyond good numbers.

Jesus balls christ at Pokemon!? Looks like we have a new biggest first week for a game...but technically it's two games :P

And the best selling game for the first half of this year, goes to a old franchise in a dying system.

could pokemon bw sell 3 mil week one? (not with japan)
