Kirby Walmarts alone have sold around 200k since ioi made that statement. And like I said other major retailers are getting small to medium sized shipments(I heard someone on this board say his target got over 100 the other day. But he may have been referring to sunday... but I don't know how he could have been)

US : based on ioi's first reports 700 on the first day. so I say 1.2 million for the week.
JP : same trend as last week only slightly higher 0.2 million
others: same trend as last week ( I can not find it in anyway in the netherlands in any store and we are a small country compared to others 0.3 million

I'm going to guess 8-900k (US).

To often in these forums wii is given extremely bullish predictions compared to what will realistically occur. Happened with Galaxy, wii fit, Metroid, and plenty of times with just the week to week numbers. I try to shoot a little more conservatively.

US - Probably around 800k. Most consoles went on the first day im imagining, I think I remember reading that some stores got their shipments mid-week so 200k extra seems a fair assumption.

Europe - 300-400K, Ive seen places here (UK) taking down their "wii in stock!" signs this week.

Japan - 150-200k, simple holiday season boost really.

I wonder how, if ninty i smaking about 2M a month, How will they sell 1.3 M i n one week? It doesnt make sense.

Interesting question. There are 2 weeks of sales left for December. There is about 2-2.5 million left of shipments for Wii to get out, if all my calculations in an earlier topic were correct. It's important to note that in America and Europe for the final week sales will be pretty low due to shortages and the holiday season ending in it. While Japan over the next 2 weeks should increase every week.

So this next upcoming week of data should be a huge week for all areas. So:

Week Ending Dec. 22nd, 2007
NA: 900k
EO: 500k
JP: 250k
Total- 1650k

Week Ending Dec. 29th, 2007
NA- 150k
EO- 150k
JP- 300k
Total- 600k

Total Over Next 2 Weeks- 2.25 million

That would put Wii sales at about 19 million by the end of the year, which would fit their sales goal. Let's see how it turns out.
