Looks uninspired and bland. Generic (I hate that word though). And like some ppl said already, too much use of motion controls that don't add anything substantial to gameplay.

I'm afraid Nintendo has destroyed Zelda.

Have you even played any Zelda in the past ten years

After Majora's Mask no lol.

Faux concern ill suits you.

What does that mean?

Hands on impressions?... Wait, nobody  has played the game yet, lets wait before giving any opinions pls...

I think he was referring to other comments in the thread

Also, Roma, exactly

It means bemoaning the death of a franchise you haven't played in a decade comes across as disingenuous.

Yeah I know how bad it sounds, but I bought the N64 only for Zelda and I intended to buy a Gamecube for Wind waker too but it looked cartoon and then I intended to buy a Wii for Twilight Princess but because I was so busy with HD and PC gaming I decided to wait for the "real" current gen Zelda and then at E3 I was just so underwhelmed.

I watched them all on YouTube though. As an outside observer rather than a true Zelda fan my evaluation is that the franchise is stagnating and losing relevance.

You're drawing a false dichotomy here; you are an outside observer, not in contrast to "true Zelda fans" (I am probably not one) but to people who play the games.

How seriously would you take me if I watched Youtube footage of Elder Scrolls games and said the same thing about them?

Anyway, look

There's no good reason not to get Twilight Princess. At this point you're making excuses. If you want to play Zelda, play it. But you don't! So you have no perspective to say what's really wrong with the series, just what keeps you from playing it.

Study Aonuma's track record and you'll be surprised. He's turning Zelda into whatever he likes with total disregard of the public. Capcom did a better job at Zelda than he did.

Well, then you're bound to enjoy Skyward Sword.

Unless, of course, you're always as completely and incessantly incongruous as this post indicates?

Graphics look not so hot IMO and the artstyle doesn't help at all. Maybe it is far from launching yet? Even if they're aiming for 60 fps they can do better.

Anyways, even with the disappoiting graphics and maybe a not so inspiring premise (hard to say it so early, but..) the gameplay could make it a really really interesting pick. I'll wait for E3 before definitely making up my mind on it.

You'll be glad to hear this is the most sensible post (not from me of course ) in this thread in a long while. It seems to have split directly in two

I know. I just desperately want to have an opinion about the new Zelda lol.

No, I wouldn' take you very seriously if you said that about Elder Scrolls.

I absolutely love the look of Twilight Princess but I'm afraid that the motion controls will put me off.

The bolded: well said.

How about...you play Twilight Princess? You can get it for around £8 used in some places, if you want to have an opinion  at least make it an informed one
