Eurocom:  There’s roughly 12 million Wiis in North America alone

Great, now I have to question how well their tracking is!

That must be the Wii's without dust.

Reported I'm sick of seeing comments like these.

Too bad they're true. My Wii has an inch of dust on it.

And generally, you don't tell people that you're reporting them.

Eurocom: We’re not sure really. There’s roughly 12 million Wiis in North America alone but it’s not really a console that a lot of shooter fans are playing on. Maybe it’s because they don’t like using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Hopefully we’ve changed that and with support for the Classic Controller Pro we’re putting something into a shooter fan’s hands that they instantly know how to play.

There would be more if a) more games were actually made, b) gamers actually knew about them (marketing on the Wii is a joke), and c) didn't warp into genres we didn't want.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

@nintendogamer  im sure it was a joke, why so serious????

OT good Eurocom, good for them, i bought the game day 1 and im still playing it. Probably the only game i play for Wii on the regular. and double kudos to saying that some gamers dont care for the whole remote setting, no matter how many try to claim its "superior"

I suggest moving out of your parents' air ducts, then.  You could at least guilt them into giving you a corner in the garage...

Lol. Electronics collect dust regardless of if you play them or not. I play my nintendo Wii like 4 times a week for a few hours each time. It has a thick coat of dust on it because I don't care.

And it's a shame Eurocom doesn't know that there are 40 million Wii's in America :/

I know, but an inch?  I don't dust mine, and it's got like half a centimeter at most!

So I might be exaggerating a bit...

Which is why that statement was always stupid to begin with. If you're gonna use a fancy metaphor for saying "I haven't played my Wii in ages", at least make it one that's technically accurate.

[/pseudo-rage]

The funny thing is that the media is doing their best to not report this at all. The major gaming sites are not reporting this. If GoldenEye 007 bombed on Wii, anti-Wii biased sites like 1UP would be the first to publish on their first page such news.
