Yeah, I don't see the complaints about the speed. I turned off the sigs and I haven't had a problem since. The whole ad on the side gets me occasionally(like Rocketpig)

We just need a revamp on the PM system and I would be happy :D

gamrConnect, when it launched, took away a number of features. We lost:

• A proper hot topics section
• VGC IM
• The Prediction League
• A decent PM system
• A decent wall post system.

All of these things really should be added back.

Yeh thats something I just found out a couple weeks ago, I always wanted a search function and filters for news and always thought it just wasn't there until one day Zexen showed me how to get to it...it was awfully complicated?, I think it should be the first thing you see when you go to the news section.

Not trying to whine here, but I thought I should mention I'm having speed issues on the site as well. I know its been mentioned before, but I'm seeing some people say speed isnt an issue for them. IGN is probably the slowest site that I visit, but VGC loads so much slower than IGN(for me). It's really not VGC itself, but GamrReview that loads incredibly slow. When I buckle down to do some DB admin work(banners mostly), the lack of speed really slows things down and dampens my mood a bit. Even worse when you go through some submissions and have to check around on the site to verify some things.

As far as GameDB work goes.. I used to put 2 hours of work each night in the database back in 2.0, making crazy money. 3.0 made this so complicated and destroyed the games database and functionality. nordlead asked me to become a GameDB from my work that i've put in during the 2.0 days. It's SOOOOO hard to get any type of flow when it comes to adding things to the database. Each edit is a click on a menu.. And it's kind of sad seeing my money always getting lower and lower, because someone else replaced my banner.. hahaha

I suggest that GameDBs should be able to disable adds. Sometimes some adds take a long time to load , blow up taking up the screen if you pass over them or sound starts playing. Let us get down to the nitty gritty with a light version of the website. A simple edit screen that isnt hidden behind a drop down menu ,would be nice. All this java makes it unbearable sometimes just to get to the edit button. Remove the pop ups for GameDBs that say, "Your submission will be looked over by a GameDB admin" or whatever it says when you submit something.

When someone submits a banner for a game. have the old banner pop up in the pop-up window along with tne new banner, so we dont have to take more time to go to the game's page, going through another java  cycle and adds.

Let us add more than one screenshot at a time

What's the Best browser to use for doing GameDB work? It's like some features dont work on others. I have to use a combination of Firefox and Internet Explorer.. Can't add screenshots with internet explorer?

Also, please bring back a proper Games page, not one that shows the games you added recently first then you have to keep pressing the back button to find a game? Really?! I used to love VGChartz for the games page, I wanted a website that would let me make a games collection that I can view with ease. Now I don't even know what games I have. I was about to add some games that i just bought a few months ago and wasnt sure if I added them already. I gave up on adding them, cuz I didn't feel like going through the back buttons and it's a pain searching for each game one by one in gamerReview, then clicking on add to see if i added it already. It would be nice to have a sort by feature (Name, Date added.. blah)

I hear ya, I use to be able to do hundres of submissions in such a short time because everything was so fast simple and easy to submit. Now you have to click through a bunch of stuff just to get one submission. Discouraging to not see all the other DB work not in the points system as well, I know it'll be added later, but how hard would of been to add it when this new VG Chartz came? 

Also I really miss the top 10 richest users, I wanted to make that list so bad, and I was encouraged to stay on the list when I made it.

Agreed, atleast get rid of this for DB Admins it slows things down to much.

But I think every purple name (even though I'm not purple -_-) agree that you should step in to replace the fallen admin, instead of hiring a new one that would probably suck and do things detrimental to the DB

I loved the Top 10 money makers for the week... How in the hell do we get a top post maker and not have a top money maker? THAT is what made contributing to the database worth it to most people, seeing their names on that list.

I also would LOVE to see the return of the edits list on the games page. So we know who added what to the database for each game. Makes you feel proud for adding something and seeing your name there. Then we can also see who was the person who made the banner that replaced yours and if it was a just call or not. The only person who gets credit on a game's page now. is a person who adds a screenshot. The list should be just for other submission, not screenshots. People want to see their names and it makes it feel like they helped.

I would also love to see the list on each games page of who owns that game come back.
