um you guys do no that that this is temporary right?

"As a result, there's a 10-day hold on the import of PS3 consoles into Europe, which are now being stored in the Netherlands. Retailers in Europe keep a two to three week stock of PlayStation 3, so if Sony is able to get things move again, there won't be any noticeable shortfall at retail."

“Absolutely, we can do much more with it. I don’t know if we are even close to 50 percent of PlayStation 3’s power at this point,” said Asmussen about God of War 3.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

yes it is temp. but did you read the rest? LG will most likely file to extend the ban.

THis is why I ALWAYS backed HD-DVD. BluRay wasn't even finalised on a standard when it killed of HD-DVD. I am not evne sure if it still finalised. Guessing by these patent wars things are not settled.

temporary injunction I assume. It happens all the time in law suits, its meant to hamper not anything else. It was basically a wake up call to Sony to take the case seriously.

In Europe... well Europe made that stupid ruling against MS about IE built into Windows. If you make a loud enough noise you seem to get what you want. They are just a big retailer chain in essence haha.
