Wait, i know they have spoken about the facts that the console can be region lock (sound more are different fonts chart from the different region when i read it, so trouble for US one to play japanese games has they don't have japanses fonts), but has it been confirmed? If i buy one asian version i won't be able to play european games on it for sure? Or need to wait the US or European release for confirmation?



But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.

All I needed to know, and this is perfect for me. 


This is what I wanted to hear as well but I was commited long ago, but it means my money wasn't put down on something that would make me irritated.

Also the AR cards were just a "that's neat" feature, now I'm spazzing out over the possibilities since you can make a life sized Mario and have him interact with the enviornment or people.

I'm still doubtfull also... but that's what they say. Though I think only the eShop and online games will be region locked, leaving the offline games region free... They might lock everything to each corresponding region. I think we still need to wait for the western release to confirm this.

NIkkei Newspaper reports

Nintendo has dropped Opera as their browser of choice. Instead, the 3DS will use Netfront, the same browser used in the PS3 and PSP. This browser supports HTML5 and Flash, two distinct technologies that allow you to watch videos on YouTube.

This doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to browse YouTube on the 3DS, as Nintendo will surely make tweaks based on what they feel is the best match for the system (and Flash is known as a massive battery hog). But the latest version of NetFront has a lot of cool features that Nintendo could take advantage of. The 3DS browser will be made available via worldwide system update in late May.

Well the stock is down this morning, much to my surprise, so I really have no idea wuts happening when 400k opening day sales doesn't inspire the market.

It's the actual price, it was originally £196.99 but I had a £50 voucher for my birthday which was lucky!
