Forums - Sales Discussion - Nikkei: 3DS sold 400k in 1 day

I reckon they should have shipped at least 800K if not 1million.

NGP is looking great, so Nintendo needs to sell as many 3DS as they can to try and capture the RPG developers and MH developers to make a game for the system before NGP comes out. Becuase if NGP gets more RPGS and MH, then it will sell the system.

To summarie yes 3DS will be strong, but if you can finish the war early then it makes it less stressful. PLus I am hoping for some great RPGS to ocome to the west. A FInal Fantasy VI and VII remake would be nice haha. Even with slight improvements and minimal work.

Even so, that always happens at any system launch. If a profit can be made, the profiteers jump out.

exactly the resale is to make profit on the shortages. Even limited edition games of cod the prestige editions did the same thing.

That's a lot of 3DSs for one day. O.O

Now if they only had the e-shop ready on day 1 and not 3 months later. :/

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

Hardly suprised by the massive numbers.

They dropped the ball on the shipments and number produced for first quarter.

If they provided enough it would outsell DS first day easily.
