With these sales it really doesn't matter.  It's the end of the franchise (unless an iphone/pad port does amazing).

Pretty much, sadly, yes

It had a lot of potential which hasn't been utilised sadly.

Expanding the userbase by spreading it out onto other platforms was a mistake, it should have remained Wii-exclusive and advertsied better, no doubt it would have sold around the same as the first that way

As much as I'd like to think so, I don't know about that.  I played the first one.  It was an okay time waster but honestly it didn't grip me in a way that I'd care for a 2nd serving of the same.   I'd sooner buy Dewy's Adventure 2 (a better and very underappreciated game in my books).   Sales would suggest I'm not the only one who feels that way.

It depends really. I mean, how many people do you reckon even know about this game, even those who brought the prequel?

This thread has shown that there's supply issues going around, and that few retailers are stocking it. Coupled with the lack of advertising and it strikes me that THQ are spreading themselves too thin. If they advertised the game better, who knows. It may hve sold better, or just as poorly. We can be certain they wouldn't have lost as much money on it though :/

I couldn't find the Wii version anywhere so I bought the 360 version. Don't know when I'll have the time to check it out though.

Advertising is not the problem.  I've seen quite a few TV comercials for it in the US.

I actually really liked the first one, but I've got so many other games I want to buy that it is going to have to wait a long time.

Well, over here in the UK I haven't seen a single TV ad or poster, only one small ad inside ONM. That's it really...

And it isn't even in Game or Gamestation. AT ALL. If the biggest supplier of games in the UK don't have it, what hope DO WE have?
