One thing is that Bulletstorm gets really repetive after a while.

GTFO , where you playing on Easy? how many retries did it take you to win the final room on hardest difficulty ?
Im digging the KZ3 campaign. Its better than part II. But the transition of black from gameplay to cutscene is just horrible.

At first I thought it was pretty easy compared to KZ2. Well that changed. They are getting quite difficult now. I'm really enjoying it so far. I find this new Stahl guy very interesting.
This game does however prove to me that Killzone is still the top of the FPS genre. I love this series.
Well after playing a full days worth of Killzone 3 here's what I see so far. Some good, some bad.
Singleplayer: To be honest so far nothing special at all. Graphics are Incredible but story is pretty much nonexistent. Still pretty much just straightforward corridor run and gun shooter. Theres very little room to experiment and try new tactics, and plays basically like a slower Call of Duty. Also lots of really small / minor technical issues. Looping dialogue, animation glitches, framerate stutters very occasionally. That being said its got great feeling weapons and is still fun to play, just nothing new that hasn't been done before. 8 / 10
Multiplayer: This is where the game shines. All thee main match types are awesome with Warzone being an absolute blast. Sometimes a single match can last like 30 minutes and its hectic, visceral, and awesome! Sniper class (I believe called marksman or something like that) is amazing and the rifles themselves feel great. So far blown away by it. 10 /10.
So in summary from what I've played if your an offline gamer looking for a great campaign there are certainly better games out there for that from what I've played, though probably none quite as beautiful. Just won't be anything you haven't seen before in terms of scale and new gameplay mechanics. But if you love online competitive play its the best experience on the PS3.
So far I like the story. Killzone continues to impress me with a story that I actually care about. Also for an FPS this game has some really good music.

I love the setting of the game and the atmosphere alot, and I think they've done a great job building the tension within the Helghast, its just there isn't much actual substance there, especially concerning the ISA guys. Its just kinda told really shallow. There's the potential for a great plot but Guerrilla has done a poor job telling it in my opinion.

The bolded part is exactly how I felt when I played the beta and now that you're saying that while playing with the final version, it's even more evident that KZ3's multiplayer really is top notch.
So jealous of all you folks here... Even more ridiculously jealous if you have both Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm...

Also, who thinks Rico is like a good ally / friend this time? I don't hate him anymore.
