Next up:  "Last Guardian won't sell like SOTC or Ico" for the same reasons stated for MGS4, GOW3, and now GT5 wouldn't sell as well as their predecessors.

 

Looking at the asian sales, it's definitely clear that Sony is expanding the market.  It's another thing to help debunk the "stuffing the channel" and "overshipping" myths that seem to be perpetuated at times.

GT5 is selling faster than Halo 3 O.O. Halo 3 shipped 5 million in 8 weeks (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/15269/Halo-3-Sells-5-Million-Copies-Mass-Effect-Already-Sold-1M/).

And about Reach? Someone has a link with numbers from Microsoft?

He's got a point CGI, it might CAUSE bickering, but it is clearly valid as these games are often compared for their incredible sales paces.  I'm actually really interested in this.

Halo 3 was released in september, there were no christmas in this halo 8 weeks

Shipped 5 Million in 8 Weeks?

That's probably like what we had with the GT5 numbers. Sony were reporting 5.5 Million AFTER December.

Halo 3 had sold 5.5 Million at retail in 8 Weeks. Either we're overtracked by a pretty large amount, or those Shipment numbers are dodgy.
