For me great graphics are those who profit the hardware potential, have a great art design to make feel the game's spirit and have a personal look and all the elements on screen are in armony in every moment. So my list...

1. Muramasa the demon blade

2. Limbo

3. Dead Space (1 or 2)

4. Super Mario Galaxy 2

5. Uncharted 2 

6. Kirby's epic yarn 

7. Alan Wake

8. God of war 3

9. Gears of war 2

10. Batman Arkham Assylum

Honorable mentions :

Mirror's edge (have a nice an own style, but with some repetitives elements)

Madworld (all moves so fluently and you can recognize every  single thing soo well with just 2 colours on screen)

FANCY TABLES FOREVER

The reason Bad Company 2 is so high on my list is because O' DEM SOUND FX. God, I could go on and on about BFBC2's sound effects, I just want to go to DICE, wherever the hell they are, and bow to them for making such great sound effects. They have like 10 different sounds for Heli's alone, and when War Tapes is on connected to my surround sound....... RRAOUAHGHHGHGHGHHHHH

As for GoW2 and U:DF, never played them, but I've seen vids and such, and I'd classify them as being placed on that part of the list.

my list is based off of more than sheer graphics. GT5 had the pretty cars and what not but the people and the background was so dissapointing to look at while driving said beautiful car.

It appears Killzone 3 is graphically even stronger than I anticipated based on the demos and plenty of footage!

I haven't finished the campaign yet, but I am having a blast with a friend going through the campaign with the Sharpshooter! I thus may have to revise my previous ranking.

So far the story is pretty slick as well!
