Not sure of Target, Tesco or Amazon but I know Bestbuy has a 30-day guarantee that if a product you purchase drops in price within 30 days they refund you the difference.

$50 promotion has been going on with Bestbuy for about a month.

Also they would be cutting price to increase momentum gained with the upcoming exclusive releases like Heroes on the Move, Socom, InFamous 2, Killzone 3, etc...

Tesco is absorbing VAT on lots of electronical items and adult clothing. It's been their target in recent years to grow their non-food business, as they're already number 1 grocer in the UK. This is another means of them doing so.
