As I though, copy and pasting a flaming article is much easier and has more posts than when I did a well though article myself. What a shame.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Good one :p, I happen to read that one too haha
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Making money is overrated...according to bums on the street, begging for money.
Even if Kinect was a failure as Malstrom says, they still did the right thing from a business perspective, and I know Malstrom respects that perspective. Microsoft, from a business perspective, got their foot in the Motion Wars door in a unique and noticeable way.
Even if they failed they still managed to stay relevant in that category. And I probably don't agree with Malstrm as much as he likes, but to be honest, you can't say the Kinect is a huge success if your competitor has a handful of motion software selling in the twenty friggin millions!
Kinect Sports will not be anywhere near the success of Sports Resort, and ALL of you can go look at the data and see that that game, and the other kinect games, will be plateauing for good very very soon. Hardware sales, of the Kinect will and are going up fast, but if software is not moving at the same amazing rate (like we saw with wii hardware and software), then you can without a doubt expect hardware sales to come crashing to a halt in the near future. People buy hardware first, then software. Once the software doesn't meet the consumer expectations, then the hardware will start to drop off.
Kinect was noticeably better than PS3's Move, and that's good enough. They haven't come close to the Wii's success in that area, and the software data shows that the hardware is not living up to it's expectations. Yeah, sure, we need to give it time, but no, the software is already dropping, and dropping fast. Kinect NEEDS the killer app, and if they didn't get it by emultating exactly what Wii Sports was, then god only knows how they'll eventually get it.
this person is a utter retard and a pure jacka$$.
GAMERTAG IS ANIMEHEAVEN X23
PSN ID IS : ANIMEREALM
PROUD MEMBER OF THE RPG FAN CLUB THREAD
ALL-TIME FAVORITE JRPG IS : LOST ODYSSEY
Kinect has helped MS a lot, while the has lost most of its luster, and the PS3 staying put, The 360 is enjoying a healthy demand in the US after 6 years which is just amazing. What Kinect hasnt done is hurt the PS3 at all. The Wii is going through the motion because it really needs a refresh like the other two console.

Dude you got to give KInect some time to get some units out there. Maybe wait until it hits atleast 40 million to say this game has or won't or will do this. Sports resort was heavily bundled with accessories.

I know the tech and I know roughly what is capable of, and in terms of gaming it seems more of a waste then anything, for a yoga game it's the best thing there is but for an actual game, even a casual one it's probably the worst controller there is and frankly I don't think the thing is going to make it anywhere near 20 mil never mind 40 mil
Kinect sales are somewhat responsible for Xbox's surge during the holidays, but less than most people think.
People forget the obvious fact that Xbox 360 ALWAYS rises during the holiday season, as do the other consoles.
Plus, you've got Call of Duty: Black Ops, a new Halo game, and a much better value and better designed 360 model. So you have many people rebuying their consoles (I'm not too proud to say I'm one of those people, and I know a few others who did as well). Those are the main reasons for the 360's sales going up during the holidays.
The Kinect 360 boost is VASTLY overstated. Are people really going out and spending $300 to place another Dance game and a Wii Sports knockoff? I highly doubt it..

I've been exactly on the money about Kinect since it was announced. I'm not jumping any gun. I know exactly what is happening and what is going to happen next. |
haha, Malstrom is FAR from a hardcore gamer..
