I idea of this thread is to compare boxart of games, maybe from one region to another, or maybe original to re-release.  I've been thinking of making this thread for a while, but was suddenly spurred into action after having the shock of my life seeing the US cover for Suikoden, compared to my European cover.

Choice 1 - European/Japanese Cover:

This is the cover I grew up with and am used to.  This is what I expect a Suikoden cover to be like

Choice 2 - North American Cover:

'WTF is this shit?' comes to my mind.  Looks like the cover from some crappy old B-movie.  I'm really at a loss what was going through Konami's mind when they gave this the go ahead

I always wanted to know who the chars in the NA box are supposed to be. The top left looks like Barbarossa, but the other ones are nothing alike the characters in the game. Is the top right supposed to be Ted?

What's funny is, in the NA box art... Who the hell are all those characters?

The American boxart makes it look like some weird "haunted mansion" type of game.

Even though I own the North American I agree that the cover is totally garabe.  Another weird thing about the North American version is that it comes in a jewel case designed for multiple discs even though the game is on one discs the same thing also applies to the first Vandal Hearts.

I thing I saw this with some Japanese games, too. Why would they use those thick cases when there's only 1 disc anyway?
