I didn't pay attention to these. What's wrong with their sales? Over- or undertracked?

ME2 seems to be overtracked on Xbox 360. We found that out some time last year when Bioware said ME2 had sold 1.6 Million on PC and Xbox 360 combined...but at the time we had ME2 at just above 1.6 Million for xbox 360 alone.

Metascore 63 - they should be jumping up and down with happiness that they managed to sell 500k of this junk.

Also if they cannot break even with 500k sales on PSP that's pathetic.

I'm not that surprised. I'm a big fan of the series, but the thought of playing a watered down portable version isn't that appealing.

If it were genuinely great, it would have likely sold a little better. But there is little potential of PSP title selling great in the west.

The new God of War is the poorest selling game in the series even with rave reviews.

MGS:PW is doing pretty crappy in the west.

Doesn't matter how good PSP games are, people tend to ignore them in the west.


PSP yeah, but not portables, a well done AC game on 3DS would sell a couple of million, MGSPW 3DS would sell 4-5 million

 I don't think handheld games typically get anywhere near 4-5 million regardless of platform. No Final Fantasy game on the DS in the whole of it's life got over 3m on the DS. The AC's on DS bombed (Albeit they sucked hard). As it currently is handheld games just don't seem to really push anywhere near console numbers, outside of Nintendo's stuff and a few licensed properties. 

 I reckon that'll change somewhat on the 3DS / NGP, but either way there's no way in hell MGSPW would push 4m on either DS or 3DS....
