Forums - Sales - Americas Pre-Order Chart Is Up!

KZ3 pre orders are absolutely terrible. I've been anxious to see this pre order chart for days thinking KZ3 would have a huge jump, and it was all for nothing. I don't understand this. I know Amazon isn't an exact representation of the world, but KZ3 moved into the top 20-30 (for most purchased video game items) like 2-2.5 weeks ago, and moved up to within about the top 10 for at least the past week (now at #6). Yet, VG chartz's KZ3 weekly pre order numbers have stayed practically the same the last 2 weeks as they were 3  weeks ago and before when KZ3 wasn't even in the top 100. So, either EMEAA/Japan (Japan, ha!) are the sole reason for all the KZ3 sales, or VG chartz pre order numbers are wrong.

Regardless, KZ3 sales still look to be really bad. U.S. PS3 owners irritate me with their lack of support of PS3's great exclusives.

People love thier pokemanz apperently. Its the first pokemon game i won't be playing, crazy =0

Dissapointed with KZ3 numbers.

And where the fuck is infamous 2 -____________________-

Come on Sucker Punch give us the special edition already.

Can I ask why?  To me pre Western release it looks like the most original mainline Pokemon RPG since the original.

KS3 numbers are disapointing and I hope they increase soon

Yer exactly. This is the most hyped I've been for a pokemon game since the Gold/Silver

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

1.6m looks likely and 1.75m's a possibility for pre-orders. I see no reason why this should have a substantially smaller pre-order to sale ratio in America than in Japan (I'd expect larger, really) so I'm betting on a 2.5m FW for Pokemon BW.

a slight increase in pre-orders for killzone, i hope it beats bulletstorm in americas first week.

What were pre-order levels in Japan before Black/White's release again? Did it really end up at 1.5m there or it increased?

whats up with Killzone 3...did Sony advertise this in the US now or what?dont look like it...

KZ3 will do fine. Not sure about americas but in emea it will do better than kz2.

Bulletstorm will do at least, 3 times better in 360 than in ps3 in americas. In emea about he same or little better.

KZ3 should get to about 200-220k preorders with about 350-400k for the Americas week 1. It should do another 400-450k in EMEAA bringing it to around 850k or so week 1. I wouldn't be surprised if it did 900k, but I'm leaning more towards 850k (100k more than KZ2).

I'm thinking more 250-300k FW in Americas and something like 250k FW in EMEAA for a total of 550k FW.

I feel like that's pretty accurate but perhaps I'm wrong to have it so low.

We'll see who wins ;)

I'd rather see you win, though.

Why so low for EMEAA? KZ2 opened to a lot more than that week 1, I can't see why it would drop like that.

Well I figured since the numbers are lower for Killzone 3 in Americas they must be lower in EMEAA as well.

You were foolish to EVER DOUBT THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF POKEMON!
