Just imagine teasers of GT5, MGS4, KZ2, FFXIII, LBP running all over the world.

5 mln. of FF is a disapointment? LOL.
About FFVII - BOTH. Though gameplay haven`t changed dramatically since FFVI, so then, graphics and CGI cutscenes. =)
But again, FF7 was a revoliution, since it was in 3D + world background was just increadible images.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Bzzt I loveeeee FF it's my second favorite series after Zelda but I HATE most of them after VII because of the direction they went in.. I can honestly say I adore Final Fantasy but I'm dreading Final Fantasy XIII the more I hear about it. I know several(over twenty) people who feel exactly the same. I'll admit 20 isn't a lot but this is my circle of friends and one of the things that initially drew us together was Final Fantasy in the early 90's.

 Maybe this is a cultural difference in abbreviations, but I've always seen million abreviated as mil or mill, min on the other hand typically is reserved for minute.

 Though I must admit, I do think it's quite accurate that FFXIII will outsell all 10 minute copies of FFVII

Cows will continue to overhype average games and then not buy them when they release, casuals will continue to buy the Wii which will cause Nintendo to release even more shovelware, and lemmings will continue to buy massive amounts of games that are all very similar, and will continue to be defensive about the RROD.
