Wii will be forced to make games for toddlers, the elderly and mentally handicapped as it goes super casual to sell more consoles.

PS3 will dominate and sell 80 million units in 2008 alone.

360 will come in second place as the hardcore gamer's console of choice with 72 new FPSs.

I only predicted/guessed, that ps3 will SHIP around 25 mln. by the end of March 2009. =)
I am not sure, will it sell 25 by the end 2008, BUT if FFXIII comes worldwide in 2008, or atleast in Japan and USA, then yeah, it could easy do that.

If Final Fantasy XII only sold roughly six million on the 100-120 million userbase of the PS2 and GT4 only roughly eight million on the 50-70 million userbase of the PS2, how can you honestly expect these title to perform even remotely close on an infadecimally less popular console?

The Final Fantasy XIII will be the FIRST FF game, which will look like CGI.
It`s a DREAM of ALL FF lovers.
This game will OUTSELL FFVII in terms of sales. Which sold around 10 mln. copies. It will make even BIGGER effect, then FF7 did.

FFXIII - is a system seller, Killer`ap. People will buy PS3 just because of this ONE game, Like they will do because of GT5 and some People because of MGS4, LBP and KZ2.

People have been dissapointed to death with Final Fantasy up till this point and clearly graphics haven't been the bread and butter for FF in a long time. Do you think people honestly bought FF7 because of the way it looked or the way it played as revolutionary RPG?

I know many as well who are also waiting for MGS4... on the 360. Whether that will happen or not is still speculatory, but don't put too much money down on the bet that your typical core or hardcore gamer will go running out to buy the PS3 version.
