Lady Gaga's latest album Born This Way hits shelves in May, but today marks the debut of the first single off of the album, also titled Born This Way.
Lady Gaga:
"I was watching the news one day, and I saw footage about, uh, violence directed on gays and bisexuals, and anti-gay marriage and violence against homosexuals. I think it was in California, or maybe Mississippi, Florida, or whatever. And I just thought this isn't right is it? So I made a phone call and it turns out it isn't."
Lady Gaga also spoke on her latest outfit for the video.
"When I put together this costume, I said, I'm actually a bisexual female christ... from space! And this is what they came back with, a bisexual female space christ. That's how... Well that's just the concept! I'm not actually gonna say I'm a bisexual female space christ, that's for other people to say."
When I spoke to Lady Gaga about her album: "You have a huge album coming out very soon, Born this Way, everyone is excited about it, you must be too."
Lady Gaga had this to say:
"When people look back at music history, they'll say, 'Sgt. Pepper, Born this way,'; that's what they'll probably say."
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
