No surprise CoD3 bombed in Japan. Its a WW2 shooter, they didnt fair too well in that war, I doubt japanese people realy want to play games about it.

COD3 didn't bomb....It did exactly like what COD2 did plus a few extra units. FPS games never, ever do well except for Halo and Resistance.
COD4, if released on both consoles at the same time, should sell around 40k first week, with the X360 equaling the PS3 version.
However, the PS3 version will sell better overall.
I'd say something like:
X360 ver:
20k o/w
37.5k LTD
PS3 ver:
20k o/w
42.5k LTD
Give or take. It'll do better than COD2/3 since your not shooting Nazis, but it's still a FPS game.
