Nice high sales for PS3, good holds for al games, great entry for Mario Vs. DK!

Wii needs a new game, and a price cut, to re-energise sales. But, that doesn't mean it won't be competitie. The Wii could well win this week, depending on how the PS3 fares in America. If not, it'll be the PS3

But this looks like YET ANOTHER week when all sales are in that "statistical tie", and that's not a bad thing

Some little adjustments happen in the last weeks (EMEAA)... now in WW figures PS3 was above 360 every week in 2011 except the last week (the only not received adjust yet).

Excellent news, this makes me go like this!

I say, we wait until NPD, which should be anytime soon. Then we can either celebrate these sales more, or we can celebrate the Wii being on top, or we can celebrate the 360 being on top.

It really is that close

I think that when it's this close out there that whichever console ends up on top deserves to be celebrated, regardless of which console I prefer

...

and that picture is really freaking me out

Middle East, Africa & Asia Hardware

ConsoleWeekly (change)Total
PS3 25,994 (-13%) 4,276,018
PSP 25,252 (-10%) 10,137,534
PS2 13,701 (-10%) 15,006,807
DS 13,407 (-1%) 6,666,397
Wii 12,605 (-11%) 3,319,082
X360 7,974 (-16%) 2,653,304

I think this is pretty interesting. Look at the difference in sales between the Sony consoles and the other consoles, heck, the PS2 is ahead of the DS here!

Is the reason due to being avaliable in more areas, or is there another reason?

I thought so, but still, even then, that's an amazing gap. That's why the 360 can't pull ahead, it isn't popular in non-english speaking nations...

More surprising for me when I saw that table days ago was PS3 > Wii lifetime in these countries... and 25% over.
