I would rather they made a new IP. Although GOW III is fantastic, and one of my favourite games this gen, I think the PS3 could use few new exciting exclusives. 

Beyond The Last Guardian, Twisted Metal and the Rockstar game Agent, Sony is relying on sequels across the board, albeit sequels to hugely popular and fantastic games.

It was new IP's that attracted me to the PS3 in the first place, along with the knowledge that Sony have a stellar first party team of studios.

Although I'm looking forward to many games in 2011 and beyond, I just wish there were some big first parties who were trying their hands on something new, rather then playing it safe.

Rumor is Guerilla Games are going to be making a new IP after Killzone 3, I can't wait to see what that is, and I will be a bit disappointed if Killzone 4 is announced instead.

god of war would make sense as it is an established franchise which equates to good sales.

You start a new IP and you are almost guranteed less sales than sticking with the God of War franchise.

Ironically, I was studying and taking notes from the concept art of GOW 3 in my school library. I've been working on it ever since and this was just made me even happier. As I said before In the official news post, there are plenty of gods left to kill. It wont happen after 3, but they could definitely make a fitting prequel for the PS3 console.

I kinda doubt it.  God of War II had a teaser for God of War: Chains of Olympus on its manual.  Same for Chains of Olympus and God of War III, as well as for God of War IIi and Ghost of Sparta.

Plus, I would actually like to see a new IP from Santa Monica. They're obviously a very talented studio and I'd like to see their take on a new genre.
