You most likely haven't understood the ending then.

I also thought it was meant to be the end of the trilogy - and the end closed the door on the Greek gods and Olympus, the only thing left uncertain is Kratos.

personally i thought God of War 3 was a good game, but a far cry from the excellent 1st and 2nd games, i think had Cory or Jaffe stayed on with the project it wouldve had a much better story, been a bit longer, and had better level design. 

so i would prefer it if they did a new IP. but if they did do God of War 4, i can see them using Demos as the new protagonist of the series, seeing as his origin has been established in Ghost of Sparta, and Krato's vengence ended in 3, and there is a full costume of Demos avaliable for GOW3 which looks like they could use it for a main game.

If by RPG u mean a Rocket-Propelled Grenade for Kratos then yes...yes they are.

I would be quite interested in the story if this is true

Of course they're making a God of War game. It's a very pupular series.

i dont understand what it could be about. The gods are dead the world is a mess. "chaos will rise again"   and thats basically it.
