Woo-hah!I had no idea the US launch lineup had been revealed already. Well, that bodes well for Europe, then. Pilotwings FTW!

Reggie's had a disturbing propensity to mean "launch window" when he's said "launch" so far. The titles listed could very well be more of this "launch window" shenanigans

IIRC, the only things about this were said a while back, and that the games expected to usher in the Virtual Console service were to be Super Mario Land and Link's Awakening DX. I'm not aware of any other title even being announced.

@Mr. Khan  i hate this launch window crap, let us know what games we can buy Day 1 Ninty, damn, how hard can it be??? Me personally im just gonna wait till E3 and see what else is coming down the pipe. Good luck to whoever buys one at launch I hope you are satisfied, (seriously).  Disclamer: I never buy ANY systems at launch, there lineups always only have one game I want, 3DS doesnt look any different. (I want Pliotwings)

Actually, it can be harder than you think.

First, you have to ensure 3rd parties will have their game finalized and have ordered X amount of game carts.

Distribution has to be ready to get that game to market on X day.

Retailers have to be ready with shelf space to stock those titles.

If any of these 3 segments are not finalized yet, an exact release date cannot be pinned down.
