Oh I figured it out. You can change their appearance before missions ( only the people who you have made loyal)  but it doesnt really do anything like the last game.

That's exactly what badgenome wrote in the first reply of this thread >.>

Yeah, I had figured it out late, thats all. I thank him for his help.

LMFAO!  I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that incident...

what incident?

It was in a thread last year on PC exclusives and shio listed Mirror's Edge (I think) because it was a "2010 exclusive."  A bunch of people called him out on it and he eventually backed down, but not without tons of bitching about it...

It was Braid, but yeah. Fuck, was that ever funny.

No it was Mirror's Edge >.<

Even the omniscient badgenome makes mistakes sometimes. I see....

I stand corrected... and so do you, because it was both!

Me too it seems, because it was also way back in 2009...  Man was that thread epic...

Now that we've answered your question, here's MY question:  Why the hell doesn't Jack have a fucking space suit?

I did a mission yesterday.  Shephard had on a space suit, including a helmet that I didn't select.  Jacob had on a full space suit.  Jack wore a bra, some jeans, some Lugz boots, and a little mask over her nose and mouth!!  Is she so crazy in the head that the laws of physics no longer apply to her?

I don't believe you can outside of changing to their alternate costumes on the squad selection screen after you do their loyalty missions.

Why isn't this in the Sony forum, btw?

You cant customize it before missions. It doesn't allow you. Do you know any other way?

you can't unless you do their loyalty missions. Their armors don;t have any effects on them like in ME1 and your armor in ME2 so don't worry about it.

Two words: Biotic Barrier.

Jack is too awesome for a space suit. Surely that much is obvious. At least, that's how I rationalised it.

Also, while I'm here: Mass Effect 2 Platinum = GOT! Oh, yes!

Also, while I'm here, I'll answer the OP fully as it seems no one else has.

Each one of your team-mates starts with a single outfit. When you complete their loyalty mission, you unlock a second outfit that you can choose before you head off on a mission. Further, there are currently two outfit DLCs. One already released -- Pack 1 -- and a second due on February the 8th, 2011 -- Pack 2.

Pack 1 gives you an new outfit for Garrus, Jack, and Thane. Pack 2 gives you a new outfit for Miranda, Tali, and Grunt.

In all cases the alternative outfits are cosmetic only and do absolutely nothing bar change a newly outfitted character's appearance.

So, there you go.
