Depends on the production costs for NGP software; no mention has been made of average man hours required either for original titles, or PS3 type ports. No mention on the size of the games either.

If development costs are lower as they are with the PSP, and turnaround times are faster, they may well be similarly priced to PSP games with the only other factor being that the flash media being used are many times more expensive than the UMDs, which cost pennies to press by comparison.

$40-50 for new titles, depending on the size of the game and production scope, with budget titles most likely being thrown in the mix for less. Minis will stay in the mix for under $10, as will ports of older games for $20 or less.

Keep in mind that not all games will be distributed via flash media; most, if not all games will likely be available through PSN as well, eliminating media production costs. This may be the first instance in which consumers see a difference in price between retail copies of games and DD copies. Potential backlash among brick and mortar retailers if so.

i hope there is a tiered system.  not all games have equal amounts of investment -- why should they all cost the same?
