no. the 3d is the main selling point. without the 3d it is basically the same as the ds imo.

I don't think that I'd spend $200 on the (non) 3DS. Maybe $150 or $175. There aren't too many launch titles that are a must-have for me, so I'm gonna' wait to buy the 3DS, anyway.
