My comment was truly not aimed at you. I just thought it was amusing of you to jump on morenoingrato's opinion simply because it went against your's and I wondered if you'd do the same with me. I'm afraid you took it the wrong way. My complaint is legit and I have as much of a right to say as anybody else, whether that makes me a busta or not. I always supported that the best art style for the Zelda franchise was the realistic-cartoony mix a bit like OoT. I liked Wind Waker's art style too but I wouldn't want another Zelda with it. Twilight visuals were impressive at first but it made me realize that too realistic isn't what's best for the franchise. Also, I don't speak nor write so rude so that's why I didn't know about "that shit". And why are you using personal attacks on me? I've seriously never been so downgraded for saying my opinion on forums. |
Never been so "degraded", and if you've never been told that you were being overly sensitive then you are far too sheltered and delicate for this forum - or any forum. And yes, that is a matter of you being overly sensitive, and your final paragraph also qualifies as oversensitive ballyhooing. Pointing that out is not, in point of fact, a personal attack.
My response to morenoingrato is related to a pattern of behavior seeing repeated iterations. I shouldn't have to repeat this; I said it in my first post in this thread.
You're free to express your opinions, but in so doing you implicitly accept that you are holding those opinions up for free (and public!) ridicule. Do not say anything if you can't take people responding in disagreement.
Skyward Sword is neither overly cartoony nor overly realistic, comparing favorably to Ocarina or Majora in that it's highly stylistic, differentiating itself primarily through its use of color.
The point that you do not "speak nor write so rude[ly]" is rather aside from the point, particularly when the colloquialism has been explained and should be difficult to misconstrue based on context - unless, of course, one is being overly sensitive.
And I will tell you like I told morenoingrato:
I hope that every wish you have concerning this game, where they run counter to mine, is ground into dust and forgotten. You can go right ahead and be dissatisfied with the direction of the game; I like it enough that your dissatisfaction is entirely immaterial. I am immensely glad that Nintendo is going in a direction I like rather than a direction you like.

You may be Khuutra and your fine words are impressive but you don't know everything and you certainly don't know me. You are just being very unpleasant.
And what if I am sensitive? I don't think I am but you saying I'm "oversensitive" again and again just sounds like a personal attack since you seem to use it as a way to explain everything I'm saying. Get over it. It has nothing to do with me stating my opinion.
And give me a break English is a second language for me. I don't know all the expressions.
You constantly assume I have ulterior motives or that I am not honest. That's wrong and quite irritating.

Now the conversation has wandered away from Zelda entirely; I'm not going to be continuing along those lines in this topic.
ANYWAYS!
I kind of went off-topic.
Am I the only one who can see a staggering ressemblance (of the art style) with that quest in Oblivion where you were in a painting or something? I loved that quest.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE, don't say that :( I want that to happen so bad yet will it happen!? |
Most likely not, but one can dream. I've also been waiting since the New Play Control games came out.
I am not hyped with this game at all. Though I am not stupid, I know it might be one of the best titles this year. That's why I'll get it anyway. The good thing is I do not suffer the waiting as I do with Xenoblade, The Last Story, Final Fantasy Versus and L.A. Noire to name a few.

I hope that every dream you have for the game that runs counter to mine is dashed and ground into dust. I hope the game is bright and colorful and vibrant, using the contrast between tones to evoke emotions in the way paintings can, utilizing the fullness of its color palette to paint scenes of immense beauty, and I hope that I have reason to stand on top of cliffs and watch the sun set. I hope the game is exactly what we've seen of it so far, only moreso. |
I hope that every dream you have for the game that runs counter to mine is dashed and ground into dust. I hope the game is dark and gloomy and mature, using the contrast between tones to give us dark envioroments with that stylish artstyle, utilizing the its color palette to paint scenes of immense shadow, and I hope that I can see Hyrule in flames and some apocalyptic scenarios.
I hope the game is the opposite what we've seen of it so far, and a totally different take on the Zelda franchise.

Ah, now here's the rub:
I'm going to get what I want, and you will not.

You will get what you want, but that new artstyle will come to a huge cost... this will be the most casual friendly, short and easy Zelda game of all time, mark my words.
