Square: Keep your FFXIII saves for FFXIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII owners may want to keep hold of their save game file for FFXIII-2, according to producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Motomu Toriyama.

For what specific reasons, the pair didn’t say. But you can probably expect to see some sort of surprise or goods for FFXIII-2 when you buy it.

The pair also dropped a couple more details for the game to Famitsu, but they’re pretty spoilerific for those who have yet to complete FFXIII itself.

Hmmm I hope Square actually gives us something good unlike Capcom when they told us to save our SF4 save file for SSF4. Just ended up with a lame varient costume.

Well SE have used transfecting save data in he past in Gams like the Japanese Version of FFX-2 save data would unlock bonus content in FFX-2 International Last Mission as well as some other Games.

I hope you ether would get some bonus items or Gill or even some bonus event scenes explaining more about the history of pulse.
