Yeah, big disappointment.

@kowen  I dont see how telling people a game is sold out will generate interest, if you call yourself a gamer you've had some exposure to ME, i dont care what the system, you at least know one guy who has a 360 or PC who talked about it (good or bad) so if they dont have no interest in it by now, they just dont have any interest in it.

@darth Tigris IMHO I think most people have played it already. There are more 360s out there than PS3s and even more PCs, so i dont think its crazy to think that most people who were interested would have played it by now, I can only speak for myself but most of my PS3 only friends have longed played this game on PC. Or maybe they are just waiting for the price to drop?? 60 bucks is alot to ask for a year late game. DLC or not

It's kind of a funny...

- 360 had no release and just down 3% week on week.

- PS3 had LBP2 and Mass Effect 2 (ok... that's a late port) and down 5%.

That's the motive for I use the words "overtracked" and "undertracked" everytime.

And why in the name of all things sensible would ME2 (sold like crap) and LBP2 (a sequel to a succesful but not mega succesful title) move hardware?

360 and Kinect are still hot items... live with it or just leave the site for good if you have no respect for it.

This shit is getting really really fucking boring now.

Define "mega successful" please.

I saw a youtube debate about 360  vs PS3 software sales one time that brought up a good point. Last gen, on the PS2, only GTA and Gran Turismo sold such huge numbers. Xbox had it's Halo and Nintendo had its Super Smash.

But the many, many other games that were considered "mega successful" were in the 4-6M range. MGS, FFXII, KH, etc.

I just want to know what makes you belittle (albeit only slightly) LBP. Because compared to last gen, there was only a handful of games that were "mega successful" (I'm basing this on the fact that you're probably using something like Wii Fit as benchmark for tossing in the "mega")

This thread feels like walking into a war zone.

guys, don't you remember the "ME2 is hard to find everywhere"?  EA didn't expect more sales than this, so, imo, and in EA opinion, it is selling great to be a 1 year later port of game that doesn't have the prequel in the console.

Hmmm...perhaps...I just expect that hard to find meant sales of maybe 250K, not 88K, but that's just me.

<cool story bro>

I often buy full games on the PSN if I don't have them already or even if I do, I often sell my hard copy for more than the PSN download (did this with Infamous and Tomb Raider: Underworld). I also download 99% of my PSP games from the PSN with the only one I haven't being KH:BBS for obvious reasons.

I will say that games are often cheaper via retail channels but I still prefer games via PSN. Why you ask?  To put it simply, I'm lazy (why get off the couch when I don't have to), I prefer NOT having boxes and game cases due to the fact that I don't like having my relatively small apartment filled with game cases.

Sure, I could save a few bucks here and there buying retail, but I get more enjoyment out of having a more room to move/hang paintings/whatever in my apartment since I wouldn't need a bookcase to hold my games, than I do out of saving a little bit of $$$$.

</cool story bro>

In the end, it's a preference.  I'm sure most people buy via retail, but I think ME2 sold 20k or so via PSN this week based on gut feeling only.

so bs sales figures for the 360 in the america saved it, does not vgc ever learn it was way overtracked after we got shipment figures, vgc you need to get your act together

so how do you know sales in us much much more than vgc... just wondering?

lol common sense my friend, there are shortages so no way in hell do i accest the us sales figure, you lot still taking this site seriously after x360 was a whopping 1m overtracked seriously??

I was away from computer access for a few days, so sorry for the late opinion...

I agree that jneul could be wrong about the tracking, but don't understand the hate.  It seems that if your opinion isn't shared by the majority, you get railed pretty hard here.  In thread after thread, people disagree over the same 2 or 3 things, and when jneul brings up a consistent point that jneul believes, BANG.  The best way to prove a point about jneuls points are to ignore the posts, not ban a person for their opinion...  I am sure that everyone got the message, don't say the numbers are over or under tracked repeatedly in other peoples threads about sales numbers or you will be gone and maybe for good.

the top ten worldwide game sales says to gt5 where art you
