Interesting.. Seems like all three consoles will be at a virtual tie this week worldwide. I actually see this happening several weeks, barring any major releases from any of the three consoles.

Also, DKC at 13 makes me a sad panda :( but it's still holding up decently. Won't reach my prediction of 12 million, but looks like it should make it to around 8 million when it's all said and done, which are great numbers for a game without "Wii" or "Mario" in the title. Hell, I recall many people claiming this game would sell 1-2 million, so it's already exceeded the expectations of many.

The PS3-360 war is becoming very interesting with these numbers, can't wait for Japan.

I agree the constant adjusting (in large amounts in some cases) makes the discussing of the sales seem pretty pointless when there is such a high margin for error.. I heard the 360 was adjusted down like over a million units??

But it's better than nothing, and there are no better alternative at the present time, at least for free.

I take it this means 360 shortages in the US were exaggerated at best.

LBP1 had it's street date broken in the US. Maybe if you factor that in EMEAA and USA are doing the same relatively YOY.

hmm...Sony must really attack in the US...cut the price of the PS3 for the Killzone 3 release or do a PS3/KZ3 bundle for 299 and after that a price cut for Socom 4 and things look different...if i dont see a price cut after the Socom 4 release Sony just dont wanna do better in the US and must be kind of pleased with the PS3 in americas...
