Well this really isn't a fair question since the launches aren't aligned. I mean they're so far apart that I won't even need to choose . I'll get 3DS in March and by the time October(just a guess as to when it will launch) comes around I'll have enough money to get NGP too, no sweat. If there was a situation where I would have to choose between the two I'd probably go with NGP.

NGP..... But after a significant price drop so probably in 3 years time.......

PSP2 at launch, I can tell its launch will be good, that Gravity Daze game looked amazing and I love Hot Shots Golf with a passion (Am I the only one? Lol) the Sony Franchises, 3G?! How can you not want a handheld with as many features as this...?

3DS...when I have extra money to waste, I got bored of the DS pretty fast and especially the Wii...I sold it. :O

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

3DS : of course !

NGP : Depends on its price

Both.  I'll probably get the NGP first.

Favorite Games of All-Time:

1.  Star Ocean 3   2. Kingdom Hearts:  Birth by Sleep  3. Kingdom Hearts 1/2  4.  Metal Gear Solid 4    5.  Super Mario 3  6.  Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess/Ocarina of Time  7. Uncharted 2

Both, but I want 3DS more as of right now. Also the problem with my purchase of PSP will be price.

Ignoring price (since we don't have a PSP2 price yet), they're both pretty appealing.

I love the DS and I assume the 3DS would be just that much cooler.  I think 3D with glasses is a massive waste of time and money but glassesless 3D?  yes please!  Add to that an already impressive list of games I would love to play on the go and the 3DS is awesome.

As for the PSP, I think they're neat but I have no reason to get one.  The PSP2 on the other hand, is pretty cool.  The back touchpad alone has a lot of potential and it just sounds all around slick.  While the 3D gimmick might ware thin on me, I think the PSP2 could do a little better.  The only troubling thing is the launch lineup-- they're almost all games I can already find on my PS3, just smaller and probably for the same or close price.  For my handhelds I want the extremely casual games I just pick up and play for 5 minutes or 5 hours (Tetris and Brain Age are perfect examples).

Again, ignoring price, I'm a little more excited about the PSP2.  While I love almost every 3DS game announced, I already have a DS, I don't have a handheld with a touchpad on the back.

If they release at the same price and stay around the same price most of their lifetime, I'll probably get a PSP2.  If the 3DS is consistently cheaper than the PSP2, I'll get a 3DS when they start dropping in price.

Also, the other thing that worries me about the PSP2 is I'm sure Sony will release a yearly revision of it while the 3DS shouldn't see nearly as many.

Whatever the case though, I'm not paying more than $200 for a handheld so it's going to be a while before I get either one.  Consoles cost $200 at this point in the generation, the handhelds shouldn't cost more.

I'm Getting the NGP at launch if it cost 349$ tops.
