no, it's thin but has huge screen. It's really beautiful.

thin means jack shit in regards to pockets.

i'm worried about its length and width, not its depth.  can i sit down with this in my pocket even?

I really don't care how you are going carry something you are not going to buy.

You don't put something like this in your pocket. You just don't. I wouldn't even put my DS in my pocket.

I would rather have it this size with a big screen than smaller with a smaller screen

its a bit big ill probably buy it but when the slim comes out ill sell the original and buy that one.

According to Kotaku at least the NGP is very light.

5" OLED screen, 960 x 544 resolution?

No, it is not too big.

It's virtually the same size as the PSP, maybe a bit slimmer. Neither are something anyone would typically shove into the back pocket of a pair of jeans. A jacket or coat pocket, sure. Preferably with a case of some sort to protect the display.

I'm mostly curious about the MSRP as I'm no longer convinced this will be a $299 device due to the size of the display. Even $350 would be a reasonable price, but one that would limit the the consumer audience.

It sounds like there will be more than one SKU as in a 3G/WiFi and WiFi only model, much like the iPad, to be priced accordingly.

It looks ginormous next to an iPhone.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

yes it is, people seem to forget that the ipad is not meant to be carried around with you but to be put on top of a stack of paper to stop them from flying over when there's a breeze

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
