First Nintendo with their cool handheld 3DS and now damn Sony with a super device while we don't have anything. I'm so freaking upset.

It's nothing. I'll get one but it won't become a famous device like the iPhone nor is it a powerful gaming console like PSP2.
For example no journalist on gaming sites will ever mention gaming on Windows Phone 7, no games for it will be reviewd (only as a side-not to the few iPhone games that are reviewed perhaps) all they'll be talking about is 3DS and PSP2.

This remembers me of the PS3 when everyone though that it would sell based on that it had everything and their cat crammed in. And this thing is in a worse condition than the PS3, yet people refuse to see it.

Above: still the best game of the year.

That's still expensive and they haven't even got any data on them. Plus MGS4 is like 42 gig.

There are loads of things different about then and now. Least of which PSP2 only has one competitor, the 3DS.
Lots of people don't want stylus controls or 3D, and would rather the tech focus on stellar graphics and other enhancements. Thus we get PSP2. You say its got too much in it. I think if it didn't have all this crammed into it, people would be complaining that it doesn't do any new and different to differentiate it form the 3DS.
My body is read and I can't wait to spend $500~ on this next christmas (whether its because the device costs $500 or it costs $300 and I buy $200 in games).

Those are retail prices for SD Cards. Manufacturing costs for ROM cards should be significantly less.
MGS4 may be 42GB for the PS3, but that's not what it will be for the PSP2. The textures are going to get scaled down, regardless that the resolution is pretty darn awesome for a handheld, it still pales in comparison to 1080p games meant for 32" screens. My guess is the textures could be cut in half or even more, along with some other changes, could be made to fit into a 16GB cart. I doubt we will see games costing more than $39, certainly no more than $49.

Alright that sounds better, wasn't really looking forward to paying £50 for games again. Plus you're probably right that the scaled down textures won't be as noticeable on a smaller screen.
