WHat to Expect

"Today Martyn Williams posted on Twitter the photo of PlayStation Meeting invite by Sony, on the invite is confirmed the announcement of PSP2, and some features like OLED screen, Android operative system and 3G connectivity."

SOme say the Android reference might be in regards to Xperia Play so we might hear some news on that as well.

There have been many rumors floating around the web about the PSP2 but unlike Xperia Play, no one still has a clear idea about the final product, so today will be an exciting day for the fans.

Anoop over at Andriasang has said he will do a second-hand Live Blog of the event and I will try and find links to live streams and such as they become available. If you guys find any please post here and I will update the OP.

New Hardware reveals are exciting times for all, if I am not mistaken the last Playstation Meeting event announced the PS3 and the plans the company has for it. So let's hope for a detailed reveal with at least some game announcements with it

Eurogamer is reporting that a source has told them that the device currently has a 4-5 hour battery life. Considering the power of the device and 3G, that's quite impressive.

I'm just really curious what games are coming to the PSP2. I really do hope the 3rd Party and 1st Party support is there.

Rumors are coming in saying the device is very dev friendly in comparison to Sony's previous HW.

Also Yakuza creator have said he has some 'big' things to do today, unless it's playing VC3/TLS or going out with hot yet big girl today, it might be a hint ;)

At least I can't be disappointed with the PSP2 since I'm not hyped at all about it.
