My impressions so far:

- Took about the same time as Halo Reach to find a match (post-CoD Blops release);
- When the match was found and the map was loading, it blew up my Xbox (had to restart it).

With that said, I can't say I really tried the gameplay yet! I know it's a demo, but c'mon man... can't third party devs release something that work nowadays?

I also had a look in neogaf where people tried the demo and the impressions are pretty mixed, some people say it's the best looking console game, some other people say it looks like crap, lacks anti-aliasing, etc.

Anyways, I haven't played this demo... but if I have to base my opinion on those screeshots, I'd say it's not bad... but it's far from being great (I'm only talking about graphics).

However, people must remember that this is just a multiplayer demo, and maybe the singleplayer will look better as usual.

Crysis 2 looks pretty good from those screenshots. In my opinion its not as good as they showed in the trailers though, but as kowenicki said, its just the MP part and we should probably wait for the SP demo or full version to release.

Your talking a beta for multiplayer. They are just server testing, look at GT5: Time Trials, it looked like crap but it let them test race servers or whatever. Logically they don't give a damn about the visuals till the main game is released. This is how most console betas work. MAG, Warhawk, GT5, etc all weren't at their best when it came to their betas. I really have no idea why they do this actually as it gives false impressions, but whatever, their stupidity.

Played 2 games, did good the first game and not so good the second game (cause I was dicking around with other classes)

Here are some random thoughts.

Sniping is sooooooo hard in Crysis 2

The graphics are very good but I think that Bulletstorm looks much better then it....all in all the graphics for Crysis 2 did not really blow me away.

Invise is a pretty cool thing and I like the fast paced action of the game.

All in all I was rather impressed with it. Still don't know if i'm going to buy it though.

I'm not impress with the graphics I was maybe hoping to be WOW and it did not happen. The player are just going for cheep shot with the invisibilty power...Already hate the multiplayer. Looks pretty much like  like M.Warfare on steroid (with superpower). I think I'm gone prefer killzone 3. So I'm gone rent the game or wait to grab it when it's gone be 30$ (only to play the singleplayer). On another note I really enjoy Bulletstorm.

hmm I wonder if it's the fact that Crytech proper didn't do the multiplayer that the graphics aren't blowing people away or if cryengine 3 just isn't that great on 360 yet...

since when has multiplayer looked as good as single player, how does it compare to for example black ops multiplayer in terms of graphics

Played about 4 matches, and got to Rank 5 I think.  Set up is similar to COD in that you have killstreak rewards and there are killcams.  Team Deathmatch is frenetic, and I only experienced real noticeable lag once.

IMO the match loading screen needs more information (progress bar maybe) and the match ending screen could be layed out a little easier.  Also, agree that in general the menu's seem not well designed.  Minor things all; didn't seem to find any really bad balance issues.  Will definitely play more tomorrow night.

I am growing tired of Black Ops multiplayer so am hoping after continued play that this will convince me to jump ship so to speak.
