I think, they will hate losing the two lawsuits they are still apart of over the 360. and only cut the price by $50 in the summer.

WTF leo? Have you gone completely insane?
There is no way in hell Nintendo will consider dropping the price of the Wii until it stops selling out on a regular basis. Dropping the price of a sold out console is like giving away free money. They simply won't do it. Or do you think that a price cut would be able to boost their production as well? /sarcasm
*IF* (and its a big if) the Wii isn't sold out when and IF MS drops price. I still don't think Nintendo is likely to respond. Worst case the Wii will still be experiencing brisk sales and there is simply no reason to drop price then either...for the same reason that you wouldn't when it is sold out..because you would lose the full impact of a price drop to a lack of supply.
It's simply not going to happening.

Nintendo probably won't drop the Wii's price until middle of 2009 at the earliest.
MS on the other hand will likely drop as much as a hundred in the next year off the 360 to try and force Sony into dangerous territory, play a price war with the 360 and lose any hope of profit this gen, or fall further behind in WW sales, because MS can absorb those losses far better than Sony can

Im not sure what would be best.
-A $50 price cut before GTAIV and another $50 price cut before Christmas 2008
-Or simply a $100 price cut before GTAIV.
