with 7 weeks to go Black/White has more preorders then the final week of heart gold/soul silver. There is no way these preorders can be accurate or black/white will do around 3-4mil in Americas first week unless preorders drop a lot from now on or the preorder to buy ratio is much lower then previous pokemon games.

Its pokemon what do you expect?

Gold and Silver were remakes, Black and White brand new games so probably that's the reason for the high numbers.

Two Worlds 2 should open up to about 100k in Americas and Dead Space 2 will probably sell 250-350k its first week WW (360 version only for both)

Beyblades still popular Lol

i remember that when i was like 10, that lasted like half an year before yugio came storming in  (and thats like 9 years ago)

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Dragon Age is really surprising, given the sales of the first and the way people have been responding to the second.

Though looking at the 360 version, ~2 million after just over a year is pretty darn good.  I guess it's unusual because sequels for games like this usually take longer to come out.  Usually these games take 2-3 years to make, and the original  probably would've been closer to 2.5 or 3 million by that time.

dragon age is a kind of game that gets a lot of preorders but not really any one buys the game first day or week, kinda like world of warcraft

Nice to see SKyward Sword pre-orders like that without any info in half a year and with a alpha pseudo-prototype stage shown.
