I know the feeling, I keep thinking about why a bunch of great games are no where in sight, but I remember why before I post.

I was gonna go with Mass Effect 3 but then I realized that you were talking about exclusives.

So Uncharted 3 will be the highest ranking exclusive out this year (provided it actually comes out this year at all)

Gears of War 3. I might not like the game or fps in general, but this game is hugely popular and a lot of popular fps seem to be getting great scores lately (though not deserved imho). I still hope it is lBp2.

Number 1. Diablo 3 (9.4)

Reasoning

PC High reviews have gotten a lot easier to get since the 1990s when you consider starcraft got an 88 and starcraft 2 got a 93 despite having its fair share of issues. Diablo scored a 94 in 1996. If Diablo 3 is even decent it should easily get a 94 considering todays review standards from most sites. Mainstream Zelda titles always get high scores. I believe Skyward Sword will be a slight disappointment and so will get a 9.4

Gears of War 3 and Uncharted 3 will hurt each others review scores as they will undoubtedly be compared and some reviewers will prefer one to the other and lower the other ones score to show that. Uncharted 2 was third person shooter at near perfection. It will be next to impossible for Uncharted 3 not to be viewed as disappointing to many reviewers. Similar to how many thought Majoras Mask was a disappointment compared to Ocarina of Times despite the games being arguably the 2 best games on the nintendo 64. Gears of War used to have no real competition in the third person shooter genre. Now Uncharted is its competition so the score will no doubt be lower even if the game is better then 2.
