I'll go with the 6th option in the poll 
DK will have tad higher sales in USA and Japan, but GT5 will have much much much higher sales in EMEAA.
with the assumption neither game gets heavily bundled in the future, imo Donkey Kong Country will win reaching lifetime sales of around 9.5mil. Though its too early to tell since we have only seen two weeks of these games non holiday legs. Maybe in a few months more accurate predictions can be made.
DKCR, though I'm obviously biased. It should be pretty close. 7-10m for GT5 and 9-12m for DKCR, I think, mainly because I suspect that PS3's small base won't be able to support such long legs that GTs tend to have. Could easily be wrong about this one, though.

Was thinking maybe a brown Wii with DKCR. Thought it might be Donkey Kong's 25th anniversary year, as it was Mario's. In that case, if it isn't, is he older than Mario, anyone know? If he is older then he has missed out on his anniversary!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
GT5 is only going to get better. It's my winner.

Based on how great Mario games are doing on the Wii. It'll be no surprise to see DKCR out perform GT5.
