If I only owned a PS3, it wouldn't make a big deal to me either. But if you owned both, wouldn't you want the more complete version of the game? 

It's not that I don't want the DLC, I just don't want to pay extra for content when the game will give me many hours of fun gaming. I played the daylights out of all the GTA's on the PS2 and never had a problem with needing more content.  Being that this is on a next generation system, a person really shouldn't need DLC to continue playing the game as I'm sure it's as long as the previous games.

I really don't see the DLC being more complete.  I see it as a "Map Pack" or additional level to the game and it will probably be a few months after the launch before we would see the DLC and at that time GTA4 would most likely be a game I'd pop in once in a while when I want senseless violence.

Fair enough. I was just curious to know your reasoning for opting for the PS3 version over the 360.

Also, another thing that tips the scales towards the PS3's advantage for multi-platform games is that I really prefer the PS3 controller over the 360 as well as the free internet. I think I'm going to let my live sub run out once that's up since i rarely ever go online with it anymore. The kids tend to annoy me when going online to game. I know that it's not specific to the 360, but it's much more prevalent then it is on the PS3 (even though it still happens on there with kids dropping the N word and all around stupidity.)

Not in Europe. GTA4 will sell better on PS3 here. Microsoft can add DLC etc. but it won't change anything. PES08 on X360 is better and Microsoft has bigger userbase... and you know what? PS3 version still sells better.

People simply trust in Sony brand. 

 Well I'm not sure I'd say I trust in the Sony Brand per say, but I look at the competition, see that it's Microsoft, and do myself the favor of avoiding at all costs XD I'd say a lot of it isn't Sony support, but Microsoft's foul taste.

Like I said before, it doesnt make a difference. The full version is the one on the disc. The DLC are optional additional missions you can take if you feel like it. I dont feel like it ;)... cause like I said, it doesnt make any smaller or larger difference to me.
