Take into consideration 360 sales have gone up every year in Americas.
It did 5.56 in 2009 and jumped to 8.46 in 2010. So assuming sales maintain or even grow for the next couple years, 50 million seems reasonable for lifetime sales.

I wish it could beat PS2 sales but that will never happen :(
Still for Microsoft to get in the top 3 or 4 console sales of all time in the US is quite the feat when it happens.

Amazing. I think PS2 had sold 40 million in the Americas just when the PS3 launched, which was 6 years.
If the X360 sells 7 million in NA in 2011 it's tracking very close to PS2.
I think both the wii and xbox 360 will supass the ps2 this will probly become the most sucesful console generation
It shows 360 is still young in Americas & it's not going anywhere soon, great achievement congratulation MS.
