When are we allowed to make fun of Skyward Sword for taking forever like everyone did with GT5?

Edit: If this rumour is true

When it's delayed two years past its first release date.

GT5's first official date was November 2nd 2009. It was only delayed a couple weeks. Before that every "date" was pure speculation.

Ah, okay, that's fair.

It came out in 2010, though.

Oh shit I think I meant to say Nov 2 2010. Oh well. I understand the jokes GT5 gets because it came out like 5 years after it was announced.

it's gonna be featured and announced at gdc for sure.

Does anyone know when Nintendo will officially announce scheduled games for the 1st half of 211?  Will it happen at GDC?

They really need to get their list of early 2011 scheduled games out soon.   Us Nintendo fans are feeling a little left out compared to the resplendent 2011 games schedule for PS3.

End of January is their usual time frame for Q1/Q2 release dating.

Meh...I'm not really surprised....All 3 of the last Legend of Zelda games launched late in the year. I didn't even realize they were shooting for a Summer launch in the first place. I assumed it was going to be an Uncharted vs. Gears vs. Zelda holiday season....

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (November 9th 2006)
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (October 7th 2007)
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (December 9th 2009)

Lets not forget

The Legend Of Zelda : A Link To The Past (November 21, 1991)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (November 21 1998)

All the "Flagship" Zelda games have gotten a November release since "A Link To The Past" came out.

Wind Waker was a flagship title, and unless I'm badly mistaken it came out in late spring.

Actually, WInd Waker was released in December 2002 in Japan. So I should have said all flagship titles are released in the latter part of the year (since A Link To The Past)

In Japan, yes.

You will take note, though, that its biggest territories did not launch in winter; it's an exception, rather than the rule, but it merits note.

Japan had significant #'s when comparing to the EU and on more than several occasions the series has larger figures in Japan (though U.S seems to have always the largest).

Regardless I, like most people, go from the original release date, despite which region it launches in first or wether or not it is a larger territory.

We just have to wait until E3 because that's when Nintendo actually gives out facts.
