Yakuza 4 dated for UK

Posted January 20th, 2011 at 16:57 EDT by Mike Harradence

Sega’s pinned down a UK release date for Yakuza 4, confirming the gangster brawler’s set to muscle its way on to store shelves on March 18.

Interestingly, this puts the sequel out in PAL territories exactly one year after its Japanese counterpart, which rocked up in the Land of the Rising Sun on March 18, 2010.

Yakuza 4 sees series staple Kazuma mixing it up with three fresh faces, including Masayoshi Tanimura, Shun Akiyama and Taiga Saejima. New locations have also been added, such as a rooftop area and the grimy back streets of Kamurocho.

The game’s out in North America on March 15.

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

cool...that means March for the other countries in Europe too (at least for the big markets)...man i hope Sega put some localized subtitles this time in the game...the only reason Yakuza 3 didnt perform THAT great in Europe was because it was ALL english...and there are soo many gamers that dont buy it because of that...(same was with Valkyria Chronicles...screw you Sega)
