i hate microsoft, not because of xbox, but because of the things they do, they generally make my life harder. i think they try

things like internet explorer make web design 100% more difficult. in many cases web designers write two webpages everytime they write one and it goes like this:  if user is using a horrible web browser than show user x, if using any web browser thats not internet explorer than show user y.

another thing that i hate about microsoft is their habit of stealing things from open source projects, licensing them differently, marketing them, and not providing backwards support to the place that they got it from, pretty much destroying the original writer of the programs last few years of work

I thought Nintendo would be higher given the the last four months on this forum. Guess Sony Fans hate Microsoft, and Microsoft fans hate Sony. Everyone sane hates Apple! :P

still, i've both products, a Philips LCD, and a water purifier, and BOTH products are pure SHIT!

i respect them because they're a big old company. but damn...worst quality ever.

There definitely is...I'm surprised at the poll too. And only 1 for Nintendo? Wow. Before reading the thread and just looking at the poll, I thought this might be about if people hate HW manufacturers for HW failure lol.

OT: No.

Now its about even. But in the end, maybe there is more Sony fan but not more Sony fanboy. Maybe a bigger percentage of the Sony fan also own the other companies products, hence dont hate them. Unless theres simply not more Sony fan then there are fan of the other system. This is just food for thought, I know internet poll cant be taken too seriously.

You can't steal I.P. from something which has no I.P. protection. Microsoft are as free to borrow open source ideas as you are free to go into a shop and buy the latest Gucci bag or whatever and replicate it.
